Residents in parts of Southwell prepared for the worst as the town went on flood alert in response to this week’s rain. Flooding closes schools and roads

Residents in several Nottinghamshire villages have been battling floods for the second time in four days after a night and day of torrential rain. Minister tours flood-hit village

People in Nottinghamshire who suffered during July’s floods have been assured they have not been forgotten. Gillian Merron, minister for the East Midlands, visited some of the affected areas to listen to residents. Street suffering repeat flooding

RESIDENTS of a Southwell street affected by the recent flooding believe Severn Trent could have prevented the problems. Houses on Leeway Road have flooded at least 15 times in the last 20 years.
