New homes agreed despite flood concern
The development of four homes in Southwell has been given the go-ahead after councillors decided they were satisfied that flooding concerns had been addressed. Working towards a dry town
The Watercourse Volunteers continues to make sure our dykes, ditches, dumbles and drains are in working order. Across town from the Southwell Trail, along Potwell Dyke where, sadly after all the volunteer efforts, dumping of garden waste still goes on, to Westhorpe. Protection group given training following Southwell’s flash floods
Members of the Southwell Flood Forum have received training in road closures in advance of any potential flooding this winter.
