On July 6th 2019 Jillian Labadz, Liz Walker and Jacky Huson were invited to join a tour around Southwell by delegates to the “Heritage, Risk and Resilience, confronting conservation calamities” conference in Nottingham.

The delegates were interested to hear how Southwell Flood Forum had been involved in the work to protect our historic town.

About 20 delegates led by Jason Mordan, Senior Practitioner Historic Buildings at Nottinghamshire County Council visited the leaky barriers, key places around town culminating in a visit to the Southwell Workhouse’s newly opened infirmary
