Rob Jordan Co-Chair and John Cook of Southwell Flood Form, Halam Hill Group met URS Flood Consultants Richard James (Hydraulic Modeller) and Chris Broome (who is undertaking the options assessment and economic appraisal)
They walked round the northern end of town to examine and log the details of how and where the floodwaters affected properties, infrastructure and watercourses on 23rd July, 2013.
They will also take into account where is affected whenever it rains heavily in Southwell.
They were impressed with the amount of information already researched and collated and with the website which correlates with their findings.
A second site visit on Monday 16th December with Mark Bertolini Co-Chair of Southwell Flood Forum, Potwell Group to examine the areas affected by the flooding on the south side of town.
