Very excited by the news that Southwell Flood Forum has been shortlisted for this award.
Flood Re has been on the search for an individual or group who has been a pillar of strength for flood action in areas across the UK. These people will have made a real difference on the ground, helping their communities through the toughest times of flooding. They may have rallied the troops in a time of need after being flooded, or led the way for better flood protection.
Four representatives of Southwell Flood Forum will be attending the awards ceremony at the House of Commons in Westminster, London on November 28th to hear who is the lucky winner of this award – £10K.
