We would like to build up a visual record of any flooding incidents in Southwell.
- to help the funding bid by visual evidence of the scale of the impact
- ‘lest we forget’
- a potential ‘before’ and ‘after’ gallery of effectiveness of flood defences
Please send us your photos and links to videos on YouTube etc. If you would like to send us a video file please send it free via wetransfer.com as we may not receive large files by email.
We are particularly interested in documenting the storm/flood on 23rd July, but we also need any material regarding previous incidents such as June 2007, or any other incidents which we are aware occur on a regular basis, e.g.
- Flooding caused by Potwell Dyke
- Flooding caused by River Greet
- Surface water drainage problems
- Potential flooding hazards such as obstructions to watercourses, blocked drains etc
