Welcome to the National Flood Forum June 2016 Bulletin.

In this issue they raise questions about a BSI Kite Mark scheme which is believed could mislead consumers about flood protection products.

There are articles about the newly formed Radcliffe Flood Action Group six months after the Boxing Day floods and from Dr Richard Jones of the University of Leicester, examining the link between place names, water and flood.

Despite the summer months the NFF is busy on recovery work after recent flash flooding and this edition also highlights their need for volunteers and fundraisers to ensure they can continue to support people when they need us.
