75 people came to the Coffee Morning held at the Old Vicarage Boutique Hotel on day of the meeting. The proprietor, Susanne Fitzpatrick, made everyone welcome with coffee,tea and home made bicuits so that all proceeds went directly to the Flood Fund. A big thank you to, Minster Gift-ware, Healthwell, Poppy Design, The Hen House, Violet Rose and Bull Yard Gallery who donated some lovely prizes for the raffle. A total of £410 was raised, another step towards our target.
Southwell Lions have made a very generous donation of £500. The Lions are also organising the Flood Fest on 19th July.
The total raised exceeds £5000 with additional donations received at the Meeting on 10th April.
400 people came to the Public Engagement Meeting when buckets were put to good use to make a collection bringing the total to £7,000.
