Residents affected by the July floods are being invited to events in Southwell to discuss their experiences and concerns with the agencies involved.

The events will be attended by representatives from Nottinghamshire County Council, Newark and Sherwood District Council, the Environment Agency, a representative of one of the emergency services, Severn Trent Water and the Trent Valley Internal Drainage Board.

Affected residents will be able give feedback on the floods to determine whether lessons can be learned in the future.

The events are as follows:

  • Wednesday, September 25, 7-9pm
    at Minster School, Southwell.
  • Saturday, October 5, 11am-3pm
    at Southwell Leisure Centre, Southwell.
