Southwell Flood Study Launch and Consultation

Following the public meeting on Thursday 17th September, at Southwell Minster School which over 200 people attended, Nottinghamshire County Council released the long-awaited Southwell Flood Study report, which is now available online. There is also a Reference copy at Southwell Library.
Please go to the NCC website page where there are links to the relevant documents.
This the Presentation by AeCOM the Flood Engineers  (ex URS) at the launch event.
Due to the size of the documents we advise not opening them on mobile devices.
The draft report above includes mitigation options, and how these options have been appraised, see page viii.
The Consultation period has been extended to 12 weeks (till 10th December) and Nottinghamshire County Council arranged Drop-in days at the Admiral Rodney in October and November (20th and 21st) to give an opportunity for residents to see and discuss the mitigation options.
