Southwell residents are busy creating a community model of flood risk. This model will be unlike the traditional hydrological modelling which has been commissioned by Nottinghamshire County Council.
Instead of looking at the flow of water, we will explore different hotspots of risk during the 2013 flood event, how that risk moved through the town, and changed over time. These risks include those to people, property, emergency access, ket infrastructure and vehicles.
