This event has been postponed – we will be in contact with a further date.
Citizen Science Sunday on Sunday 20th March 2016 is a resilience event to help us understand our flood risk better in Southwell, which will inform our Community Resilience and Emergency Plan.
The information collected at the event will directly form the basis for the new maps to be included in the 2016 update of the Road Closure Policy.
The event will begin at 10:30 at Southwell Fire Station with an introduction to the day, then you will divide into Huddle groups, and map the risk in your own Huddle using a GPS device. (We will give a demonstration on how to use the GPS devices in the introduction)
Refreshments will be provided at the introduction.
